Just 2 days after the Spanish race, the Jordan team were back in action yesterday as they began preparations for the next round - the Austrian Grand Prix. Test driver, Ricardo Zonta started things off for the Honda powered outfit on the Silverstone circuit in England, in dry but blustery conditions.
The Brazilian driver recorded the best time of the day out of the seven drivers present, despite encountering a very difficult morning session, which included many red flags with one breakdown out on the circuit for the Jordan team. The second half of the day ran a lot more smoothly and Ricardo ended up completing a total of 57 laps to post a 1:24.31, under a tenth of a second quicker than the BAR of Olivier Panis.
The afternoon was spent focusing on tyre evaluation, chassis set-up and aerodynamics and today will see regular driver, Jarno Trulli join the action as both drivers continue with the team's scheduled program.
